The Independence Day Ceremony: The Ritual, The Heroes, and The History (Hardcover)

Awesome tradition!

This is such a cool book! Family loved it and will enjoy it for years to come! The information in the book about the revolution and the signed and whatnot is really great to have. The choose your own character/adventure thing was a little odd, but I think I see where they were going with it.

Used in a 250th Independence Day Ceremony on July 4th!

I scanned several pages into my laptop and displayed them on a big screen as I led a Ceremony as described, for about 20 citizens, followed by a patriotic sing-along (including God Bless America and The Blessing) and teaching a traditional dance, the Virginia Reel.

It covers the entire content so seems fine to me.

It is a lovely book with just enough about each hero to make me want to learn even more. I plan to share it with my college grandson who is a history major.
