Crypt Parva

Not 5 plants?

I understood when I selected this item that they are not the fastest growing crypt - so they might be on the small side. But I did hope that I would get the number indicated in the listing “5” - from three ‘pots’ of five I struggled to get 13 plants, 2 of which were very small (more like a rhizome with a few roots than a plant). There were around 6 reasonable sized plants and with some TLC I’m sure I’ll get a bit of a colony going.

I recieved the wrong plants

I have planted a clump in an aquarium and a few remainders in an emersed setup, and only the plants in the aquarium have shown melting, thus these plants are likely in their emersed form and will need extra patience and care in order to settle in. Other than that, the plants arrived in excellent condition with a (mostly) white and robust root system after removing the rock wool, so these can be assisted with a good root tab to help accelerate the transition. Fantastic value as far as Crypt Parva goes, as I got 5 decent sized plants with 4-5 plantlets in the 5 pack.
