The combination of soloist Gary Burton backed by Chuck Israels and Larry Bunker (the rhythm section on "Bill Evans Trio at Shelly's Manne-Hole"), with Jim Hall on guitar makes this modernist album a must-have for jazz collectors and audiophiles. George Avakian produced the sessions for RCA in the spacious Studio B soundstage. It's a pleasure to hear this rare gem in DSD.

Nice example of Gary Burton great performance with excellent recording and transferring! Perfect instrument microphoning so every detail can be heard. Good imaging.
