Amazing
This paddle plays just like a tennis racket. The pickle ball just sinks into paddle and the fabric grips the ball, so you can generate a ton of spin. Coming from tennis I actually prefer this quiet design. I have seen reviews that owl paddles don’t have a lot of pop or power. I haven’t even added weight tape, but with proper form and a nice swing, I can generate just as much power with more spin than any other paddle I’ve used.

The CXE is indeed quiet. It is easier on elbow and tendons. Control is better, but of course no paddle can compensate for error. A bit slower. I can see why there is conflicting views on its capacity to generate spin. Some shots seems like typical levels of spin (not great, not bad), others are indeed spinnier than expected. I have a feeling typical measures of spin are not telling the whole story with this paddle. Dwell time is indeed higher, to the extent that if I remind myself with each shot to maximize dwell time, things go better. If I don't, then things may go wrong, perhaps due to variability. I don't believe off center hits are an worse or more problematic with this paddle. I did try tapes and wraps, but removed them because they seemed to make the paddle less predictable. This was suprising!

I am very happy with their response. The paddle I purchased was heavier than I thought. They easily let me return the paddle and get the refund
