FIELD TOP | MARGO STRIPES

Was so excited about this piece but the armholes and chest dimensions were really really off on my body. I normally wear a medium on top, but being it looked a little “crop” like, I wanted to ensure it had some extra length and space so I sized up to a large. But that didn’t help at all. The little armholes have a tighter elastic around it that bunched up strangely on my arms, and the fabric didn’t sit well around my neck and chest- bunched in weird ways and looked really strange. Not a fit on my shape at all. (I’m probably a 36C, if that’s a helpful reference- and often wear little kid size L and XL, uni size xs/s and women’s m as I like a snug fit)

I love the fabric and it's well made. What I wasn't prepared for was that it's kind of a crop top fit. The bottom hem is elastic, which is a nice detail. However, the overall length of the top is short enough so that when I raise my arms, the top creeps up. I don't love having my tummy exposed!

Love the color stripes and the cut — they remind me of Leslie Caron in “An American In Paris.”
