Avoid This Tool—Cheap, Brittle, and Unreliable Do not waste your money on this. While the tool isn’t entirely plastic, the plastic parts it does have are extremely brittle and shatter easily with minor bumps. I bought it because it was the only one in this style advertised to handle thicker wire—but it failed completely. It couldn’t even cut through the insulation properly, bending and twisting until it threatened to break. I would’ve needed at least five passes just to strip one section, which is unacceptable when working with 100+ feet of wire. The only way I’d change this review is with a full refund. Look for a better-built alternative—this one isn’t worth the frustration.
