Wingman Bass - Vintage White

I bought the Last Whit Wingman Bass! This thing sounds Phenomenaly awesome and is very lightweight! The folks at Baum built a masterpiece. It is very well crafted and fits ver ergonomically! I think it is a keeper!

I prefer to write my impressions on this instrument now, after a few months of use. I've bought a "B-STOCK" Wingman Bass, yet I have to admit that its conditions are basically same as "NEW". I mainly use it (in standard tuning) across Italy with my "SuperGaga" Tribute band to Lady Gaga. The look of the WB is simply fantastic; following my personal tastes I applied inlay stickers fret markers "aged white pearl" and now I love its looks even more ;-) Of course I also found the sound really ok , maybe a little more "funkish" and a little less "rockish" than I expected by such powerful looks, but absolutely usable for all the genres I have the chance to play currently (I play with several other bands with completely different setlists). I can also confirm good playability and balance (no headstock sliding/shifting). I have different amps (Fender rumble combo, Ampeg full stack, Mark Bass) , but both me and my 49years old back are surprisingly satisfied by the sound I can get by just plugging my WB into my Ampeg SCR-DI and connect to the PA: this also means that next summer I could move from one gig to the next by motorbike.. this is great! :D PS. I’ve only ever had replica basses before, Fender Squire for example, but this one is the real deal. Extremely pleased with it.
