Great product, saved time and effort and materials, no need to worry about extra long cable runs as this was an easy yet effective solution to switching a new lighting circuit some distance from circuit supply point. Will definitely be keeping this in mind for future installs.

Perfect fit for our stawbale build

We are building a strawbale home but want to avoid putting too much cabling and pipe work into the bales so we opted for the remote light switch (and probably switches of GEM). They are easy to install, and the switch has such a minimal size that it only stands outs out just a couple of mills from the wall. Our order had a defect but was instantly replaced with a new one. So, I'm very happy with the product and service. A highly recommended product. The other reason why I choose the GEM one is the fact that it is a radio controlled one. So, no Wi-Fi or Bluetooth which needs regular updates and maintenance. I like the simplicity of the product too.

Absolutely LOVE this bit of kit!

I have used GEM wireless switches for a few years now, and they just keep getting better and better! I’ll order another Surface Mount Switch Kit for my new place and leave it sitting on the lounge coffee table - this new model doesn’t need to be mounted into a wall and will look sharp just as a ‘remote’. GOOD WORK Gem!
