The Smart Tip Silicone Teflon chair tips are the only ones we could find to suit chair legs that are both oval and slant at an angle. The silicon fits firmly over the leg and stays in place. The teflon glides well on carpet. We tried other harder types that were slanted but they didn't stay on. The only drawback for these Smart Tip Silicone Teflon covers is that for a couple of them the blue teflon cap came away from the silicon however it was able to be glued back on with a strong glue. We think it was the angle that caused this to happen. We only ordered enough to try out on 2 chairs but are going to order more as well as some for other chairs and a table with straight legs and are round not oval. When I spoke to customer service he was very pleasant and helpful. I would recommend giving them a call if you're not sure what you need.

These glide effortlessly on our sisal rug. They actually fit the chair perfectly and I recommend these, such a big difference in handling the chairs I give these a five star rating
