Dog proof
My two Scotty dogs are ferocious with most dog toys, especially the rubber and plastic ones, tearing them to bits in short time and ripping out the squeakers. However the more substantial toys like the Hippo and the Shoe take a lot longer to destroy. These sturdy toys can last weeks after the squeaker is removed and get carried back and forth from the house, out to the garden to be buried and then back again (all wet and dirty). Eventually the hippo gets its legs, tail and head chewed off and the body covering torn off. Time to get another one!
