This bag rules.
Just used this over 4 weeks while skiing in Bolivia. Packed it to over 30kg, carried like a dream. Packed down, it skis just like the 30L. Impressed with the amount of thought that went into this bag.
Have tried loads of options for expedition packs in the past, and the EX 55 is without a doubt a game changer. I'd buy this bag again and again and again.

Garage
Me and my friends call it a garage, you could fit everything you ever wanted on the inside, and then you still have avi pockets, front pocket, and a ton on the outside. Super comfy too. Also packs down smaller then my 38L

This is a weapon of a pack - cant wait to get it out n about
Coming from the Mutant 52 which is lean on features, these packs are chalk n cheese. Love so many things about this pack already. I have trial packed it and are super impressed. Love the metal g-hooks, 3 x main compartment access is mind blowing, the probe stash is innovative & and manufacturing looks A1. Cant wait to get this baby loaded and out on the trail, I am pumped as our winter in Australia only 2-weeks away.
At this early stage I have two observations. I run a mid-weight ski/binding setup (Bent Chetler 100's with Shifts) so for my 5.2kg setup I would prefer slightly thicker a-frame carry straps (as per the Mutant). Also I feel like the main carry handle (which I always use to pickup my pack off the ground) is light-on in the hand. I am sure is strong enough but fully loaded this will be much less comply in the hand.
Thanks Raide for knocking it out of the park with this pack . I love love love this pack and are fully pumped!
