Works great but I did have to dig out an Aquaneat brand filter that it would fit. Wouldn’t fit any of my other sponge filters. In the description it says they’ve tested these on Aquaneat and Aquarium Co-Op sponge filters. Keep that in mind when you buy. Anyway, its a nice addition to my oscar tank. Worth the price. Looks good and adds solid bio filtration
