Above a “basic” or business formal…perfect w palazzos for cocktail dress code event. The fabric feels quite itchy/scratchy on the arms, thus the 4 star. But in my same situation again i would purchase it again, and i’m grateful that i found it…had looked all over the place like Nordstrom, Nieman Marcus, Ms Glamour, and found nothing appropriate.
