Golf 8 NAR Hill Assist Patch

HOW IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN!

I've never wanted or needed hill assist, so that fact it's as aggressive as it is AND can't be disabled or adjusted at all by default is just atrocious. Between my bf and I, we stalled the car 4 times in the first 2 weeks on inclines where we didn't think it would kick in, and I IMMEDIATELY looked up fixes. More than anything else offered, if you have a mk8, YOU NEED THIS!!! So glad this exists!

Improved, but not perfect

I've been driving around with this patch for over a week now in a very hilly area. It definitely improves upon how aggressive the stock hill hold was. It is still a bit too aggressive for me on the steeper hills, but with now way to deactivate it, this is the next best thing. As usual, the service was fantastic.

Amazing!! VW dropped the ball with the factory hill assist. This patch makes the car so much more drivable.
