Rave Generation: BDX-909

Works as expected!

What a spectacular emulator of the iconic TR-909! Thx for the good work buddy, gonna use this one a lot!

This kick plugin deserves worldwide fame, I tell ya!

This 909 kick plugin sounds so good. I'm testing it in the Mike Dean room on the new VSX 5 software and headphones. Just killer. I loaded up my other kick tools - the only one I could get close is D16’s PunchBox. I thought Drumazon would be closest but I couldn't get it anywhere near close which was really weird considering it’s probably the best known 909 plugin emulation. I couldn't round it out like the BDX and it was too clicky. There’s some great 909 samples out there too of course but then you don’t get to tweak like with this synthesized kick. Yes, I love the BDX-909!

For me the best emulation

Rave Generation does it again, as this is one of the best emulations if you want a 909 bass drum. The sub's controllability and attack are just what any dance producer would want. The idea that the sub follows the keyboard's pitch is also very handy, which is very popular these days in the harder dance genre. Add a saturation plugin after this one, and you'll get the coolest bass drums. I'm a fan, and I highly recommend it. You should definitely give it a try.
