I bought this on a whim during a holiday sale and wasn't expecting anything fancy, but the build feels shockingly awful to touch. The surface doesn't feel like proper walnut at all—it has a dry, chalky roughness that leaves your palm feeling gritty whenever you brush against the top. The front edges are surprisingly sharp and unfinished, and the drawer pulls feel like hollow, paper-thin metal that digs painfully into your fingers every time you grab them.

Worth every penny over cheap flat-packs

After dealing with a flimsy, wobbly dresser that rattled apart, running my hand over the heavy, smooth walnut and feeling how solidly these drawers glide open was an immediate relief.
