My husband and I bought this right after getting married and moving into a bigger house, and it's crazy comfortable and looks incredible in our living room.

An Awkward Fit for Our New Living Room

We recently moved into a much larger house and needed to fill out the space, so we bought this cognac leather sofa hoping it would serve as the anchor of our main seating area. Instead, it looks completely lost and awkwardly small against our high ceilings and open walls, and the muddy, yellowish-orange tint of the leather clashes horribly with our warm oak floors and neutral paint. What was supposed to be a cozy family gathering spot feels cold and stiff, looking more like an afterthought in our new living room than a piece of home furniture.
