Really happy with the look and comfort, but assembly was a workout
Honestly, after three weeks of daily use, I'm genuinely impressed with how sturdy this bed turned out to be. The grey velvet upholstery feels soft to the touch, the color matches my room nicely, and the padded headboard is great for propping up against while reading before lights out. It stays completely quiet with zero squeaking, and the wooden slats support my mattress just fine without needing a bulky box spring. The only reason I'm knocking off a star is the assembly process. The shipping package was heavy to haul upstairs, the instructions were pretty bare-bones, and getting a couple of the frame brackets to line up with that tiny included Allen wrench took way more sweat and patience than expected. Once everything was finally bolted together, though, it felt solid as a rock and has made for great sleep every night since.

Solid, gorgeous bed that doesn't squeak
Honestly, I was a bit hesitant to buy a bed frame online without feeling the fabric first, but after sleeping on this every single night for three weeks, I’m completely sold. Putting it together took me and my partner under an hour, and everything lined up properly without any missing hardware or weird gaps. The grey velvet feels surprisingly thick and soft—definitely not that cheap, shiny stuff—and the padded tufted headboard is great for propping up pillows to read or watch TV at night. The wooden slat support feels rock solid under our mattress with zero creaking or shifting, so not having to deal with a box spring was a huge plus. It gives the room a tidy, mid-century look, sits at just the right height, and honestly feels like furniture that costs twice as much.

Actually as easy to build as they promised
I hate putting furniture together with a passion, so the main reason I went with this frame was the claim that it was quick to assemble. Honestly, it lived up to it. All the bolt holes actually lined up without having to force anything, and I managed to get the whole thing set up by myself in about 35 minutes flat without losing my mind.
