Great sturdy table for the nursery

Finally ditched the landlord's particle board

My furnished rental came with this hideous, wobbly laminate side table that looked like it cost ten bucks at a yard sale. I finally caved and bought the Alice table to replace it, and it immediately made the room feel like an actual adult lives here. The dark wood finish feels genuinely solid, the curved silhouette gives it some personality, and it doesn't wobble at all when you set down a full mug of coffee.

Huge step up from cheap flat-pack stuff

I was tired of my old particle board end tables wobbling every time I set down a coffee mug, so I decided to get something that wouldn't fall apart after a year. The Alice table feels genuinely sturdy and heavy, and the dark brown solid wood finish looks way better in person than the flimsy veneers I used to buy. I really like the curved frame and that slatted bottom shelf for keeping books and remotes off the top surface. The only reason I'm knocking off a star is that the assembly instructions were pretty sparse on detailing how the angled legs fit into place, so it took me a bit of trial and error to get it lined up right. Other than that minor headache, it's a solid piece of furniture that actually feels built to last.
