Baby Cake Ball Winder Insert

Didn't hold 54 yds of dk!

I just love the idea. Just used for the first time with my electric ball winder. Attached fairly well, but couldn't use the bottom plate. Wound well for maybe half of the mini skein then tne yarn started jumping over the top & winding around the bottom mechanism. I had to take off & hand wind.

Perfect tool

I saw this on Ravelry and it was getting high praise so I thought I'd give it a go. I wasn't sure it would be much of a difference maker, but WHOA nelly, this thing is really great for smaller amounts of yarn. Thank you for a great new tool for my crafting tool-box.
