Its wonderful that it supports someone of my size. 450lbs. I chose this specifically for that reason. I did research and the weight and power are exactly what large person can depend on. Setting it up wasn't hard, my neighbors kid helped me with it. The biggest drawback is the legs need to raise higher which was something others have pointed out. Whoever is responsible for things like that needs to take into account especially when most larger ppl eventually have health issues and leg swelling and being able to lift them higher would be a very good thing.

Good but heavy

So far the platform frame seems to be holding up well, though with a double height mattress the legs are a bit long so it's good that they can be shortened. Shipping was prompt, though you really need a couple of strong guys to bring it in.

Love that it adjusts!

Totally worth the extra investment. This base comes with adjustable feet so that the bed can sit different heights off the ground.
