Overall, the boom arm gets a 4 rating because of the following. No way to damper the horizontal movement of the arm when mounted on the bearing. I like having the boom mounted on the bearing but it moves so well , if you even slightly bump the arm once it is in position it will move off the target. I will make a plate to bolt on the side where one can mount a monitor. I will drill and tap for a knob that will have a boot on the end to snug down on the stationary side of the bearing. Also, there is nothing to damper the camera tilt plate besides tightening down on the bolts to the camera tilt arm. This presents a precarious situation because if one tightens to much, I'm sure the plastic washers at the pivot points will become damaged. Otherwise, a well-made product. Hopefully the company will consider these items for product improvement.
