Pear Pavlova

Love this scent, it’s a silky almost powdery soapy fruit scent without the sticky sweet notes that put me off most fruit perfumes.

I am not sure what to think about this fragrance. It does have the juicy pear that I like and pretty sweet notes. However, the musk that was used smells dusty and it overpowers the other two notes. When I smell it up close, it is all dusty musk, but further away you get drifting scents of the pear and sweet notes. It is so odd to me. It seems like a Jekyll and Hyde situation. I will have to see how this is as the day goes on. Edit: The dusty musk did settle down and was not as strong after about an hour. However, it is a super close skin scent after 3 hours. It is almost gone. Very disappointing.

I really like the first five minutes of this fragrance. The pear is lovely. Except the dry down... It's so starchy and dry? A bit scratchy even. I wish I could love this, but it's not for me.
