Great fit and comfortable!
Waist runs true to size. Extremely comfortable. My favorite shorts to wear while golfing.

Almost perfect...
The material, quality and fit and finish of these shorts are second to none...and I've tried most of the "big guns"(including Peter Millar, Johnnie-O, Redvanly, Greyson, Footjoy, Bonobos...the list goes on) and the Swannies Fairway shorts are second to none of them. So based on pure quality of materials and build quality on top of a reasonable price they get 5 stars from me but with a caveat.
This is probably personal preference, but I prefer a slimmer fitting, more tapered thigh opening. These tend to be a bit on the baggier end in that area for me even though they seem to fit on the slimmer side through the waist, hips and seat. If not for that, I'd probably exclusively wear these.

Stretchy, comfy and cool. Love these shorts. Going to have to get more colors.
