Scout Cloak Waterproof

Great quality, very practical!

I am an outdoorsman, I have taught outdoor education for over a decade, managed multiple nature centers and large scale Nature education programs for state parks. I've taught backpacking classes, hiking classes, etc.. I say that to emphasize I am familiar with outdoor gear and use it frequently. This cloak is made very well, it is comfortable and it is functional. The large hood easily keeps all of the rain off of my face and head, and the design allows me to move very freely. I have used this several times already and rainy weather and it works great! I 100% recommend this. This is the second cloak I have bought from Knightweave, my third is in the mail, along with one I purchased for my partner for a Christmas gift soon. I also have the waterproof Ranger cloak and I love it for colder weather. These are quality made, they are not costume cheap junk!

Outstanding Cloak

I was worried about getting the waterproof version, thinking it would have a kind of windbreaker-esque material to it. However, the material feels and sound very similar to the normal version, but it definitely waterproof! The cloak is very comfortable. I wore it to a ren faire that was around 80 degrees, and did not get hot because it worked as a good source of shade! Highly recommend!

This cloak is a very nice. I love the color and style. The lining is comfortable and my husband will love it for Christmas. my one gripe and reason for only 4 stars is i am not happy with one of the layers not being hemmed. its a raw serged edge and it does not look good. It makes the garment look cheap and hastily made. I will have to go in and add a bias tape to it myself, which, for the price, I should not have to do. There are also 3 snaps in this cloak and they are not evenly spaced.
