It’s Great!
We are loving our vitaclay pot. We cook alot from scratch and having a nontoxic option to make our meals in is important to us. We love making broths and meals in it. The only thing that my family had to learn about was how to use it. It’s clay! So it’s important to take care of it properly as to ensure its longevity and reduce cracking. We love it though and are so happy with it! -Rachel

Learning!!
I’ve made rice, beans, oatmeal and a simple soup so far in my nourishing crock! I have noticed that the food sticks to the bottom. I don’t know how to avoid that. But I am excited to try some of the recipes. I also wish the images of the cooked food in the recipe section were of higher quality. Some of the food does not look enticing to cook. : )- . But, I do look forward to using it daily. I have had a crazy busy week so I just got it a few days ago and love how easy it is to use. I expected a very heavy weight base and crock. The high price made me think that too, but It is super light. And the bottom of the crock is not non-stick like a regular crock pot so I don’t know how to alter what I am doing just yet. I didn’t make the beans from scratch; I just added Mexican cream and cheese to refried beans with some onions and salsa. I put it on warm and that worked well to have it not stick at the bottom. I’m going to try making a whole chicken and pork chops this weekend!

WOW! Phenomenal!
I absolutely love my Vita clay. This has been hands-down the best money spent on a slow cooker/rice cooker/all of the crazy wonderful things that it offers! My first recipe I tried from the cookbook that was sent along with it was the Kitchari and it was absolutely delicious! Thank you guys for making such a nontoxic and healthy product that makes cooking so much easier!
