Bed frame is well made, just slots together and the best part… the mattress sits on top so no digging to try and lift the mattress out to put the sheets on. We have a tempur mattress and they are super heavy. My back thanks you. We liked it so much we bought another one for our spare room. Just waiting on matching bed side tables now
