Shazam(!) LET it work using the 3 steps.
I took in the instructions and did what I thought was the suggested way, but it took dropping back and beginning all new by simply using the exact “3quick steps” and shazam! The steps shown on the site were a bit better than on the box for me to get the hint. I had it 80% there but not 100% and stress free until letting those 3steps dictate. Heed the diagram’s lift arm rotations. Get it on with the CORRECT pin and hand rotate your derailleur as it says. It will simplify at that point. If you want it to work, LET it work. Even in my initial attempts I did not touch the chain once. Now that I know the easy and QUICK way I will not ever want to even loosen my cinch cam without this guy. Will be perfect for transport without wheels in the trunk of my Camry. Completely clears my cassette and things should drop in and out quickly without any chain interference or attention needed to align things.

The Chainlift V1, was great, V2 is better, it is stable and I think easier to use. I like it so much I bought 3 more for my friends to encourage them to clean and service their bikes. It worked, they now do it on a regular basis. I thank and so do they!

Big Time and Mess saver.
It took a bit to figure out, but now that I have the hang of it, it works great. It was a piece of cake to move my TT bike off tthe trainer ando take to the shop and put my road bike on. The bikes used different adapters, but selecting the correct one was not an issue and the tool worked the same for both bikes.
