Camper Kit Ultralite

I'm using it first time tomorrow on a three-day Tesla camping outing and think it will be much more comfortable than without. I've already contacted Jimmy about my consternation in assembling with no instructions. As for durability tell customers not to do what I did, which is accidentally raise a seat back a few inches cracking the wooden taper at the slot.

I bought & am using the ultralite for my Tesla Y. What huge improvement to my sleep having a level sleeping platform I made an improvement to it as a solo camper. I cut a second slot in the middle of board D. Now now platform functions as normal for a mattress. Or I can use the new slot, only fold down 1 rear seat & use only half of my mattress (Luno Air & foam mattress that unzips in the middle. It gives me half of the rear for gear & more living space. I highly recommend your platform. I'd love to have your lite platform w/ drawer, but oh well 5 stars all the way

The idea behind the Camper Kit Ultralite is absolutely fantastic. For that alone, I would immediately give it 5 stars. However, the price for, to put it bluntly, a few wooden slats is quite ambitious. At that price point, I would also expect a perfectly finished product. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. The product arrived in a condition that looked as if it had not been fully finished during manufacturing. The edges were rough and fibrous, causing the veneer to splinter during assembly. As a result, I first had to sand the edges myself and apply oil to them. There was also a piece of protective material from the production process still stuck around the logo, which did not look intentional to me. For the workmanship, I am deducting one star. However, I do not regret the purchase. Sleeping in the Tesla is noticeably more comfortable with it. In addition, the product takes up very little space and stays in my car at all times.
