CIRCA DRESS | BEAM GRID

I so badly wanted to love this dress but it was sooo long - it looked like a ballgown. I wish they did a petite version because I do love the pattern and the flow of the skirt is so cool. I thought it would be a nice semi-formal / nice casual look, but because of the layers (and likely also the length) it’s almost too formal? But then the material is casual? Hard to figure out where to wear it!

The dress is quite a bit longer than pictured. I am 5'3" and parts of the dress brush the ground. The neck line is very cute but does push on the throat a little bit so I occasionally have to pull the front of the dress down. Overall, it is a very beautiful dress, it just needs some alterations for length.
