I was very pleased with my turtle....I must not have read the description properly though, as I was assuming it would be either stained glass or stained plastic....thinking that the sun would shine thru beautifully. I do have mine hanging in the kitchen window, and I smile when I see it....I just think the rays of light shining thru would have made it perfect

I am giving three of these as gifts, and so far one gramma was very pleased with her's. She also mentioned about how neat it could've been if the sunlight was able to come thru all of it, instead of just where her name was. I told her I must not have read the description well enough....as I too was thinking like stained glass or colored plastic
