Ojai Folder - 3.75"

Surprisingly nice. I was blown away by the quality and detail on this folder. The micarta scales are just perfect. Grippy and ergonomic in hand. Deploying the blade is buttery smooth. I knocked it a star simply because it caters almost fully to right handers from the grind on the blade to the non reversible pocket clip. Luckily it has thumb studs on both sides and a leather pouch that you can use to carry on left side of belt without using the pocket clip. The steel is very very nice, and cuts like a dream. I opted to go with the N690 blade for it's excellent corrosion resistance. This knife is excellent for daily carry and will likely last a life time.

Pictures don’t do justice to just how beautiful this folder is and how well it feels in your hand. It’ll be an heirloom I pass down.

Beautiful, Quality Knife

Beautiful knife and a great feel in the hand. I have yet to give it any true tests of strength, but I have no doubt this will be nice to have for certain outdoor trips and just for general use around the yard, all while looking really high quality. Messermeister is quickly becoming a trusted brand for me in terms of both quality and aesthetics. I thought maybe this one might feel a bit too large in my pocket, as I tend to like traveling light and minimal whenever possible, but it's still surprisingly good at staying out of the way and perhaps because it doesn't have big round sides to the handle, feels slim and discreet.
