Upscaled Isadora Damask Wall Stencil

The Upscaled Isadora Damask Wall Stencil worked great and my project turned out beautifully - spectacular in fact. The only downside side as a Canadian is that I paid 50% of the price of the stencil in shipping costs and then I got another customs bill from the carrier which was significant. I wanted to order paints but the shipping was as much as the cost of paint so I can’t justify it. Also the product recommended for cleaning the stencil was not available in my city or to buy on its own on Amazon, so I literally spent over 5 hours cleaning the stencil to reuse it. When I got to the end of my project and had to clean the stencil again I could not face it and ordered another stencil despite the shipping costs. Happy with the stencil itself though.

I am not crafty at all, so if I could figure it out, anyone can. I sort of just wing it and hoped for the best. Still, I did learn some lessons during the process of mistakes that could be avoided if only I had read the instructions better. Still, I cannot stress enough how important it is to NOT OVERLOAD your roller with paint but I learned my lesson the hard way and was able to fix some things. Read the instructions carefully, and if possible, practice on a random cardboard or flat surface beforehand. Other than that even with a few uneven areas or paint running down, the design is so busy that is barely noticeable and I am so happy with the final result. Will use/buy again!

I absolutely adore this pattern and the outcome. This is my 3rd time getting stencils from Royal Designs and the 3rd time I'm in love! I used it to stencil a powder room. So so happy with the result. I used metallic champagne paint and metallic pearl white paint and mixed them to my liking. Lovely and classic.
