Super soft! Thicker than I thought it was going to be

Too stretchy

I'm a first time mum, but have been around baby carrying mums a lot. So when getting ready for baby, of course i got a wrap. Stretchy is better for newborns than woven, i was told. After looking around quite a bit i decided to get the boba wrap. I like the feel and that it's organic cotton. But. Baby would slide down and the wrap wouldn't really stay in place. I figured I'm just not a baby wearing person, or, baby just isn't a "carry baby". Or I'm not tying the wrap tight enough. But if it was tighter, baby would clearly show that he's uncomfortable. A couple of days ago I got a used wrap by someone. That wrap is firmer fabric, but still stretchy. Oh what a game changer. It's not as pretty as the Boba wrap, but now I can actually carry baby! He stays where I put him, his spine is shaped as it should be, everything perfect. So sadly, I cannot recommend the Boba wrap. I wish I could, but the fabric is just way too soft and stretchy. Maybe it works if your little one is really tiny, but mine was born with almost 10 pounds, and i never got the Boba wrap to work (but another brand works just fine).
