HAVIK 2, Gen 4.5 | Patented Shape, Max Legal Speed and Power

I adore Maverix paddles! Always have, but I recently started playing with the new Havik 2 and I love it! Even more control, power, spin-ability... I rarely give five stars but this paddle feels great. I was worried about control but I find I have better control and touch than my previous control paddle. The power is phenomenal. The shape isn’t my favorite but after a few games, it’s no longer an issue and has become a talking piece with everyone I play with and against. This has now become my favorite ‘go to’ paddle in my bag.

So far so good. Still dialing in the paddle. I started out adding the weight before even playing without it due to the majority of the reviews stating it's more refined with the added weight. The hand speed at the net is a thing. My hands are faster and it's definitely made a difference during hand battles. The power and spin are on par with other paddles in this category. Not earth shattering either way but good all around. Looking forward to really utilizing all it's potential when I'm completely comfortable. Cheers!
