Love the split shorts - not restrictive, but they don't flap open and make me feel like my entire bum is on display. Zip pocket in the back is spacious and handy for car key + gels. Key stash pockets in the front - I totally missed these until I took off the shorts. They're located where the waistband and shorts-body meet, so much lower in the garment than I expected. My only reason for not giving these 5 stars is that the high rise is a little too high for me - definitely covers my belly button, but the models in the product photos show you that. This millennial would love to see a mid rise version of these!
