Automatic Filament Reloader for 3D Printing – Endless Printer

It actually works as it should. It changes filament seamlessly and when one roll is finished, you just put the next one in so you can print endlessly, as promised. It has the same (I think) function as the Infinity Flow machine, which is only sold in the USA so far. The price may seem a bit high but is about the same level as Infinity Flow. What you have to be careful of is NOT to cut the filament at a 45 degree angle on the filament roll that you are going to fill. At least on my printer (Ratrig VC4) there will be problems in the extruder if the filament ends are not straight towards each other when it passes the extruder. You have to straighten the filament the first 10 cm. so that you can guide it into the machine, but it works well if you use pliers with round jaws. I have a small pair of pliers that I also put a piece of PTFE tubing on so that it doesn't get tangled. Be careful not to get creases in the filament. There should also be attachment points on the foot of the machine if you want to bolt it down. Overall, I think it works well, but the manual could be better.
