Class 02 - Industrial - AY 1021 - O Scale

Yet another happy purchase direct from Heljan at an amazing price. as with my other purchases it arrived quickly in perfect condition. For its size this is a hefty beast, not some lightweight, flimsy loco. It oozes quality as soon as you hold it. It is well modelled, finely detailed with superb paint. The loco ran well straight out of the box and performs well on pointwork without stalling at low speed. It runs smoothly at very low speeds indeed on my analogue layout. It pulls well with plenty of haulage capacity. The only slight criticism I would have if I had to be picky is that the lights aren't that great and are hardly visible unless you really ramp up the speed, which is hardly going to be the case 99% of the time with a loco of this type. Overall, very happy with the loco and would recommend it.

Good model. This is my second. Easy to fit DCC sound, but use an additional speaker and stay alive if you can. Directional lighting is weak an needs improvement.

Great little shunter, good smooth runner, perfect for my industry based layout.
