Winter in Canada is changing. The days of predictable deep freezes are over, replaced by wild swings that leave you feeling unprepared and frustrated. That’s where the Chinook Sherpa comes in.
Inspired by the powerful warm winds that rush off the Rockies and sweep across Alberta, Chinooks bring sudden shifts

Wish there was an XS.
I'm a 5'9", 145lbs female with an athletic build. I'm usually a small-medium in womens specific clothing, and if I'm okay with a bit of a looser fit, I can get away with mens small in a lot of different brands. I prefered the colours/design of the mens Chinook fleece so chanced getting a small. It says it's a 40" chest on the sizing chart, I am a 36.5" so expected it to be baggy, but it's REALLY baggy. I measured it closer to 42" at the chest. Wish the womens had the chest pockets and similar colour scheme. It's cozy though and seems well made. Only other little issue is that near the chin on the main zipper, it's not sewn into a seam or anything so the rough edges of the zipper fabric scratch my chin/neck. Easy fix by trimming with scissors.

This is one of my favourite fleece sweaters I’ve ever had. It’s so comfy, the colour is awesome and I’m so warm no matter how cold it’s been outside. It’s an essential part of my layering system now

The quality is great, but I had to return my order. I love that Northern Sun is a West Coast/Canadian company, but the sizing of your products is all wrong. Everything is way too small. I wear other similar brands no problem, and your sizing is not aligned with other north american brands. I hope this gets fixed in the future.
