I’m disappointed with this item. You can clearly see the safety pin on the back that holds the tie, and the 1913 piece is designed like an earring with a long backing, which creates a potential safety concern since it could poke or puncture the skin when worn. I’ve purchased similar items from other vendors, and their designs were much more thoughtfully made, with no visible safety pin or exposed hardware holding the tie together. This design does not meet the level of quality I expected.
