Croissant crochet Shoulder Tote Kit

This was not a project suitable for a first-timer. If you're a first timer, work on a smaller project that doesn't require stitching. the actual tutorial for the bag was easy to follow and well designed, the crochet part was also really fun. But, you should really be mentally prepared to hand stitch all of the leather pieces onto your thick crochet project because believe me, it is hard. Also, the needle provided for the project was really thin and flimsy for such a thick crochet bag, it made the job really difficult. There were also inadequate lengths of sewing thread. The color of the sewing thread was also not the best. I think the thread should either be white to contrast or brown to match the leather pieces. The thread provided was a dull red-brown which did not match the undertone of the leather pieces. I'd like the company to include WAY MORE thread for the sewing bit. I had to go out and get my own thread, so now my bag has one side with the red-brown thread from the kit and another side with brown thread I went out to get.

Your video on how to make the bag left out some steps, which, as a beginner, I needed. For example, when do you start curving the bag up? I have taken my crocheting out several times and I'm getting frustrated.
