Earth with Clouds Globe

I wanted to truly love this, but what was promised is not what was delivered. First off, it's absolutely stunning and mesmerizing to stare at when it works. The issue is "when it works". Though they advertise that it works with ambient light, that was not remotely true in my experience. For the first couple days I thought it was broken and tried to fix it based on the suggestions on their site. Then I moved it to the coffee table near my window and it started working as expected. Then evening came and it started to slow down until there wasn't enough sunlight. The lights in my apartment did nothing to power it. Today is overcast. It's not working. It costs too much to only work under a very restrictive set of conditions.

I bought one these years ago…..accidentally knocked it off the table and cracked it…..just had to have another one….everyday I wake up to see my world is still turning….what a wonderful feeling!

Hello I rated this globe poorly because I have two other globes that work fine. This one is not working correctly. It’s not spinning while the others are and I have tried putting it in different light and done the paper clip trick. If able can I exchange this one for a new one. Also when rotated in hand I hear something shaking around. Thank you.
