Make Your Own Ring Workshop

Coolest & most unique experience in the city!! My fiancé proposed with a custom piece, and a few months later I knew I wanted to give him something equally meaningful as an engagement gift. Living in Antwerp (the diamond capital of the world) I knew there were many jewelers in the city who work with individuals to create special pieces. However, I was looking for something even more personal and hands-on, and that’s exactly what I found at Iriss Studio. Before registering for the workshop, I reached out to Elif to ask whether the design I had in mind would actually be possible to bring to life. She responded quickly and was incredibly helpful from the start. During the workshop, Elif guided me through the entire process, explaining the history behind the wax method of jewelry making, the different techniques involved, and patiently answering all of my questions. She even sourced unique stones for me to set into the piece and helped me refine my design so it would work beautifully as a finished ring. From the moment you enter her studio, you can see the thought, care, and attention to detail she puts into her work. Each workbench is set up like a professional jeweler’s station, but with her own distinctive touch- pink work benches, snacks and subtle accents that make the space feel both creative and welcoming. She truly has everything you could need to bring an idea to life and encourages you to explore the possibilities. In the end, the ring I made is a truly one-of-a-kind piece for my fiancé, and it turned out even better than I could have imagined. I would wholeheartedly recommend this workshop to anyone who enjoys crafting, is curious about jewelry making, or simply wants a unique and memorable way to spend an afternoon. I will definitely be returning to Elif at Iriss for future jewelry needs!
