A surprisingly delightful blanket. I bought the Blackthorn printed fleece blanket featuring bats and mushrooms expecting a mildly whimsical throw to protect my couch. Instead, I appear to have acquired the approved resting place of a Victorian ghost, an eccentric Breton antiquarian, and any cat fortunate enough to discover it. The print is lovely: naturalistic bats and mushrooms rendered in an old-fashioned entomological style, which fits perfectly among books, brass candlesticks, swords and other slightly ominous décor. The off-white background also helps soften an otherwise predominantly black living room, much to the relief of friends who insist that "everything is black" in my apartment. The fleece itself is soft, warm and comfortable enough to encourage accidental naps, prolonged reading sessions and drinking homemade sage wine while listening to black metal. It has quickly become my favourite blanket and an integral part of my cabinet de curiosités aesthetic. Recommended for lovers of bats, fungi, gothic maximalism, and people who secretly aspire to haunt a manor.

Beautiful, super soft and huge. It's become my favorite piece in my bedroom. The back is white, the print in the front looks whimsical and high quality. I love it!
