Initial smell test vs. the original First impression: One spray on each hand. Right away, the original opens with a softer, smoother tobacco note in the top. With Blond Amber, I pick up a faint metallic edge early on—likely from the saffron or pepper—that I don’t notice in the original. It’s not harsh, but it is noticeable side by side. Projection: Blond Amber projects at a moderate level. The original, by comparison, is straight-up nuclear. One hour later: Blond Amber settles down nicely. The opening sharpness smooths out into a soft, pleasant scent with a subtle sandalwood presence. At this stage, it becomes much more refined and comfortable to wear. Blind test: I did a blind test with my wife, and she actually chose Blond Amber over the original. Her feedback was that the original smelled unfamiliar and “uncommon,” not bad—just something she hadn’t smelled before. Blond Amber came across as more approachable. Overall impression: This is a solid winter fragrance and a very well-done inspiration. The scent profile is extremely close to the original, especially once it dries down. While it doesn’t match the original’s beast-mode projection, it delivers where it counts: scent accuracy and wearability. Recommendation: Easy recommendation. This test was done with just one spray on the hand. With proper application, most people looking for a Blonde Amber–style scent will be very happy with the results.

Help rewrite I never had the opportunity to smell blond Amber so, I can not compare Mod ‘s Fragrance inspired version of it . but, I will say this is very nice…..to my nose this smell’s like a fresh fragrance. Though IMO this is a unisex fragrance. It just lends slightly feminine but, male and frmale can definitely rock this.
