GF Lebkuchen arrived stale

Unfortunately this year's GF Lebkuchen arrived stale. It is still edible but I was rather disappointed. As a German with Celiac Disease I buy one package ever year and enjoy every bite over the month leading up to Christmas day. I had my first one this past weekend while decorating the Christmas tree. I had to use a knife to cut it into two halves and snap it apart. I know this is not Gingerbread World's fault of course. But maybe this feedback can reach Fraunholz. It is over $4 per cookie. A little much for stale Lebkuchen.
