ESU 50220 ECoS Command Station (6A)

A very good DCC command station, easy to use with a good crisp colour touch screen display. It can be accessed via home network on any computer using a web browser so no special software or drivers needed for upgrading firmware and even adding your own custom picture icons for locomotives which is a must for UK outline stock as the built in icons are mostly European and American. Can be used for all major scales as it come with a variable voltage PSU that needs to be set for best operation, the default setting is the lowest for Z or N scale. If you have ESU decoders then it'll auto load its setting the moment the loco is put on track for the first time just touch the railcom icon that appears and rename to your desire.

Fantastic piece of kit. I've still a lot to learn and pick up but i'm really impressed.

After a great deal of thought, I ordered this. The delivery by DPD was rapid but unfortunately it arrived damaged. Trying to arramge to return it via the Website is a nightmare. For a start, it says it is "non-returnable" which is against the distance selling laws for the UK and secondly I expect a brand new item to arrive in good working order.
