These are a little awkward to use, as the cord sort of gets caught as you twist the lid, so you also need to twist the cord with each turn of the lid. But it is nice to not drop and lose my lid.

Gets the job done, but the ropes don't slide well and can become wrapped around the cap easily when attempting to screw the lid on or off.
Lossening the rope seems to help, but begins to feel like the cap could slip loose if jostled enough.
Not an ideal design to be sure, but still better than nothing.
