Turkey Decapper System

I have shot two turkeys this year with them and they seem to only be good for one turkey a piece. I wish there was N option to buy replacement blades for them because I have two perfectly good heads with bent or broken blades. Other than that I love them.

The arrows claim to fly just like field tips. Not so. I used the practice tip first and it was off. I needed to make adjustments. After those adjustments I used a pillow to shoot with the broadhead. The arrow then flew completely different. I went through 3 pillows to get it right on. The arrows are fletched with a right helical when my current setup shoots my arrows left. I called in a turkey at 15 yards and missed hitting the breast of the turkey. The arrow of course hit it like a ton of bricks but didn’t penetrate the turkey who then ran away. Had I had another arrow, I probably could’ve have made some adjustments and fully harvested the turkey. The package only comes with 1 arrow. I have since then re-fetched the arrow to a left helical for my bow and the arrow flies much more consistent with the broadhead. From now on I will not be hunting turkeys with the decap system. The margin of error is too much.

Broadheads flew exactly as advertised right out of the package. First hunt i took them out and decapped a stud bird.
