Slippery, ride up and too high waisted.... but gorgeous design pattern

First off, I LOVE Wildrye. I have like, a LOT of their shorts. But I've noticed recently that some of the shorts seem to have more and more fabric in the lower tummy / upper crotch area. Almost like enough fabric that would be good for male anatomy. So I've been a little bummed about that recent development of too much crotch fabric. For these shorts, the pattern is beautiful. Better in person than on screen. Vibrant. High contrast. However, after 2 rides, they totally ride up. And the fabric is so slippery that I think it contributes to this. Past fabric had a bit more grip, which I think is better. And these are kind of high waisted, which doesn't really feel super comfy. I fell in love with Wildrye shorts because they supported a big butt and athletic build. But I feel like small changes have made some of thewe newer shorts not fit as well. I wish they were more low waisted. Reason: when pants are high waisted, they sort of squish your organs when you bend over or are sitting which isn't that comfy. Still love you all, but these ones sadly just didn't really work so great. Minus the pretty color

These shorts are comfy and I like the elastic in the back. The shorts do ride up a little bit, so I probably won’t wear them for longer rides.
